Announcing an exciting new program that will be an important part of Jeff Merkley’s campaign for U.S. Senate.

In the spirit of our “100 Town Tour for Change,” we’re launching a series of grassroots house parties called “100 Homes for Change.” These house parties will be a great way to spread Jeff’s message of change around Oregon, and they will allow us to raise money and recruit volunteers for the campaign as well.

The house parties will take place on August 19, September 9, and October 2.
Hosts will start the parties by passing out campaign literature and beginning a conversation about the campaign with their guests. At 7 PM, all the parties around the state will dial into a conference call featuring Jeff and a special guest speaker (our speaker for August 19 will be Howard Dean!). Jeff and the guest speaker will talk about the importance of the campaign and will take some questions at the end.

Because we want these parties to be as easy as possible for our hosts, we’ve set relatively modest goals. We’re asking that each host plan an event for 10 or 15 people, raise $250 and recruit 3 volunteers for the campaign.
