Winning Universal Health Care in 2009- Yes We Can!

President-elect Obama has made it clear that health care reform is one of his top priorities. That's why the Obama-Biden Transition is asking people to give their own thoughts and ideas for how to fix the system at Health Care Community Discussions all across the country.

We're have a Southern Oregon strategy session, "Winning Universal Health Care in 2009- Yes We Can!"

at the Talent Library.

Representative Peter Buckley and State Senator Alan Bates, MD, have confirmed their participation.

Social half-hour begins at 6:30 pm, Business meeting at 7 pm
All attendees are asked to BRING NON-PERISHABLE FOOD DONATIONS for the FOOD BANK.

Canned High-Protien Foods (Refried Beans, Tuna, Chicken, etc.)
Canned Vegetables
Canned or dried beans (lentils, split peas, etc)
Packaged rice (especially brown rice)
Cereal (cold or hot)
Peanut butter
Jams and jellies
Canned diced or whole tomatoes
Canned spaghetti sauce
Canned or Dried fruit
Apple sauce
Soups and Stews (canned or dry mixes)
Canola, or Olive oil
Canned chili
Corn meal
Any non-perishable foods!
*NO HOMEMADE OR UNLABLED ITEMS, PLEASE
